I enjoy my job at Speedway because I am a people person and love interacting with our guests. I like to make them laugh and have a good start to their day. I also like the fast paced environment. It makes the day go fast. I like to challenge myself on how fast I can get our guests out the door while maintaining store conditions. There is always a lot to do at Speedway and plenty of interesting people to meet. At my Speedway, we all work together as a team to accomplish our goals.

The experience that I’ve had at Speedway Engineering has been invaluable to my career. From project management, to conceptual layouts and site plan reviews, I’ve had the opportunity to stay involved in my industry. But possibly the best part about working for Speedway is the relationships I’ve been able to build both within the company and with consulting engineers across the country!

I began my career with Speedway as a summer intern between college semesters. I was exposed to many different facets of our business right away, but what struck me the most was the number of long term employees we have at every level. I came back after graduating and was hired full time into our business running different locations and eventually managing entire districts. Speedway is truly an employee driven company; it’s a great place to begin your career where you can grow and develop with the business and have endless opportunities.

Speedway is the place for career advancement. I started as a part time customer service representative and have since moved on to become a store manager and now a recruiter. Speedway has shown its dedication by investing in my personal and professional growth. Speedway has connected organizational success to my personal success which makes me proud to be a member of the Speedway team.

When I started working at Speedway, I had no idea I would transition a job into a career. Speedway has demonstrated that growth and development internally are key values and priorities of the company. Over my five year career, Speedway has displayed a genuine sincerity for people, and offers limitless opportunities. I am beyond grateful to work for a company that practices key priorities and values on a daily basis. Beginning my career at Speedway has impacted my life tremendously in so many positive ways, and will continue to do so.
