Why do gas prices change so often?
Speedway and other competing gasoline retailers deal with constant fluctuations in the wholesale cost of gasoline. Unlike other consumer products, gasoline is a world commodity. The U.S. must compete with countries around the world for the supply of oil and gasoline. Demand, particularly in the U.S., Europe, China and India, is strong while supply is tight. This balance between supply and demand is aggravated by other issues, such as political unrest and weather. The smallest change in the supply and demand balance will affect the cost of crude oil and gasoline. As a result of these impacts, we adjust gasoline pricing to constantly bring you the most competitive price possible.
To help offset some of the impact of higher gasoline prices, we encourage you to participate in our free Speedy Rewards
program. It provides you with rewards for the simple act of shopping with us – and it is our way of delivering additional savings to you, our valued guest. Once a member, you can also utilize our Speedy Rewards Pay Card

How can I earn additional points using my Speedway Platinum MasterCard®?
When you shop at any Speedway location and present your Speedway Platinum MasterCard along with your Speedy Rewards card you will receive 40 additional Speedy Rewards points for every $1 spent. These points are in addition to the base, bonus, and club points you earn automatically. Plus, you’ll receive 10 additional Speedy Rewards points for every $1 spent for shopping everywhere else MasterCard is accepted. Chase points will be automatically credited to your Speedy Rewards account at the end of each billing cycle. How do I redeem my Speedway Platinum MasterCard Chase points?
Chase points earned during the month are not available for redemption until they are posted
on your monthly billing statement. Chase points will be automatically transferred to your
Speedy Rewards account at the end of each billing cycle. To redeem your Speedy Rewards
points, your card must be registered with your name and address. Simply scan your card at
any Speedy Rewards terminal inside the store. The screen will display how many points you
have accumulated and your options for redemption.
Are there any restrictions on earning Chase points?
Chase Points are not earned on balance transfers, cash advances, any checks that are used to access your account, money orders, overdraft advances, interest, unauthorized or fraudulent charges, or fees of any kind, including fees for products that protect or insure the balances of your account. Points will be deducted from any returns or credits made on your account. Points will not accrue and cannot be redeemed if the account is not in good standing.

How do I use my Speedy Rewards card at the pump?
Before fueling, press "YES" to the first question, "ARE YOU A SPEEDY REWARDS MEMBER?" Then,
immediately insert your Speedy Rewards card when prompted and remove quickly. (If card was not read, please see
cashier). The customer has the option to completely bypass the prompt by ignoring the question and either
inserting their Speedy Rewards card and a credit card at the pump or lifting the nozzle to pay inside.
If paying inside - lift nozzle and begin fueling at the prompt, "INSERT CARD OR BEGIN FUELING."
Once sale is complete, please go inside and pay cashier.
If paying at the pump - insert your credit card or PrePaid card at the
prompt, "INSERT CARD OR BEGIN FUELING" and remove quickly. (If card was not
read, please see cashier.) Lift nozzle and begin fueling. Your sale is complete
once the pump asks you if you would like a receipt.

I lost my card, what should I do?
If your card is registered there are three ways to report a card lost or stolen.
- Go online to www.SpeedyRewards.com and login to your account using your email address and PIN number. Select the option for "Report Lost Card." To transfer your points and profile to a new card, pick up a new card at any participating Speedway location and then return to www.SpeedyRewards.com and login to replace your Lost/Stolen card with your new card.
- Visit the Speedy Rewards redemption terminal located inside the store and press the "Lost/Stolen Card" button on the main screen. You will need to provide one of the following groups of information so that we can validate your information: Speedy Rewards card number and PIN, email address and PIN, or last name, zip code and PIN number. With this information we are able to mark your card lost/stolen. Next, you will be instructed to enter your replacement card number. You can pick up a replacement card from any sales associate.
- If your card is not registered and/or you have not protected your account with a PIN, it may be difficult to locate your account and protect your points. In this case, please call our Customer Service center at 1-800-643-1948 (Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM EST), for assistance.
How do I earn more points?

for that transaction. 20 base points are awarded per dollar spent on merchandise and 10 base points are awarded per gallon of fuel purchased. We also have items that will be designated as Bonus Point

What items are not eligible for point accrual?
Restricted items are items that are not eligible for point accrual. At this time restricted items include tobacco, alcohol, lottery, money orders, in-store restaurant, all Speedy Cash prepaid cards, NetSpend and Green Dot Reloadable products, and Vanilla Visa Gift Cards. These items are legally restricted by law in select areas. Please visit your local store for details.
How do I check my points balance?
You have three options for checking your points balance.
- Your point balance is printed on the Speedy Rewards receipt after each transaction.
- Scan your Speedy Rewards Membership card at the Speedy Rewards terminal and your current points balance will be displayed at the top of the screen.
- View your points balance, club program status and account activity on the web at www.SpeedyRewards.com.
How do I redeem my points?
Redeeming points is very easy! Visit any participating Speedway store and locate the Speedy
Rewards redemption terminal. Simply scan your Membership Card at the redemption terminal and choose the 'Redeem
Points' option. Here, you can see your points, rewards and reward status. If you qualify for any rewards, a
'Print Reward' button will be displayed under 'Reward Status.' By touching that button, a coupon is instantly
printed for you! The number of points required for that reward is then subtracted from your total points balance.
*Please remember that we need your Membership registration with name and address
completed prior to redeeming points.
What is a Club Coupon?
When you become a Speedy Rewards member, you're automatically enrolled in all of our Frequent Purchase Clubs. Every time you buy a Coffee/Fountain/Frozen Drink or other select products and use your Speedy Rewards card, your account is credited with a club point. After you have made the correct amount of qualifying purchases, you are instantly rewarded with a coupon. Your coupon could be redeemed for a free product or bonus points depending on the offer. A complete list of Frequent Purchase Clubs can be viewed on the redemption terminal under the "View Balances" menu, or online at www.SpeedyRewards.com
What is a Reward Coupon?
Just for shopping at participating Speedway locations, you will be earning points toward free gasoline and/or merchandise. Once you have accumulated a fixed amount of points a reward coupon will be instantly available to you through the Speedy Rewards redemption terminal. The point value of the reward varies depending on the type of reward item. For example, if you have earned 900 points, you will be eligible for any reward coupon that requires 900 points or less. You have the option to choose which reward you would like to receive. Once you have made a decision a reward coupon will automatically print out for you.
What if I have multiple Reward Coupons?
Multiple reward coupons? Not a problem! You can use as many reward coupons as you are eligible for, whenever
you would like! For example, instead of redeeming your points for a higher point value item, you can redeem your
points for 2 lower point value items.
What if my Reward Coupon(s) does not print?
In the unlikely event that your reward coupon does not print, simply find any store employee and he/she will
assist you in receiving your reward(s). You can also call our Customer Service center at
1-800-643-1948 (Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM EST), and we will be happy to send you a replacement coupon(s).
Is there any means of securing the card against misuse?
Yes. You may use the Speedy Rewards redemption terminal or your online account at www.SpeedyRewards.com
to create a Personal Identification Number (PIN). After having created a PIN, any attempt to redeem points with your card number will result in a request for this PIN number. If you protect the value of your PIN, no one else will be able to redeem points from your account.
What is a Speedy Rewards Pay Card?
A Speedy Rewards Pay Card is a Speedy Rewards card that you link to your checking account with authorization for use as both your loyalty card and a method of payment. Once your Speedy Rewards card is successfully linked to your checking account, it is a debit card, and we refer to it as your Speedy Rewards Pay Card!
Will my bank place a hold on my checking account funds when I use my Speedy Rewards Pay Card to pay for fuel purchases at the pump?
No! The technology Speedway implemented to process your Speedy Rewards Pay Card transaction was designed to avoid the need for your bank to place a hold on your checking account funds.
Is my checking account information secure?
Yes! Speedway LLC contracts with National Payment Card Association (NPCA) to provide this service. NPCA does not sell or disclose any information to a third party, including Speedway. Speedway does not have access to any of your registered bank account information. NPCA complies with all National Automated Clearing House Association (NACHA) rules and regulations, which govern electronic payment processing.
How is my Speedy Rewards Pay Card used for payment?
National Payment Card Association has patent-pending technology that enables you to link your checking account, and a Personal Identification Number (PIN), with your Speedy Rewards card. Once complete, you can pay for fuel and merchandise at Speedway and participating locations to earn Speedy Rewards loyalty points, with one card swipe! After your card is successfully linked to your checking account, your card is swiped, just like any debit card, to initiate an electronic check transaction which will post as a charge, equal to the amount of the purchase, to your checking account.
After my Speedy Rewards card is linked to my checking account, do I always have to use it as my method of payment? If I don’t, will I continue to earn points?
Each time you swipe your Speedy Rewards Pay Card, you will be asked if you want to use it as your method of payment. If you don’t, press NO and you will then be prompted to present an alternative method of payment. However, double points on your fuel purchases are earned only when your Speedy Rewards Pay Card is selected as your method of payment. You will earn the standard program points regardless of the method of payment you choose.
Why use my Speedy Rewards Pay Card rather than a regular, bank issued, debit card?
Debit cards and credit cards are forms of payment that carry large merchant fees from the banking and credit card industry. Speedway’s cost of processing a Speedy Rewards Pay Card transaction is less, which allows us to offer you double points on your gas purchases. Occasional special promotions will offer you additional benefits for using your Speedy Rewards Pay Card. Each Speedy Rewards Pay Card transaction requires you to enter a PIN for security before it is authorized. Your Speedy Rewards Pay Card transaction is safer and more secure than any transaction completed with a card that does not require you to enter a PIN. Plus, you save time, earn points, and pay for your purchases with one card swipe!
What fees and charges will I be assessed if I use my Speedy Rewards Pay Card?
Most banks do not charge for debit transactions, also referred to as electronic check transactions or ACH (Automated Clearing House) transactions. This is the same method of payment and processing that is currently used if you pay your mortgage, car payment or credit card bill on-line. If your transaction is returned as NSF (Non-Sufficient Funds) charges will apply from your bank and from National Payment Card Association.
What are the usage limits on my Speedy Rewards Pay Card?
The limits for use of your payment card are as follows:
$100 per transaction
4 transactions per day
$150 daily amount
12 transactions per week
$500 weekly amount

What is Alternate ID?
This a 7-10 digit number linked to your Speedy Rewards card that you can use in place of swiping your card. Each Speedy Rewards card will have a unique alternate ID so points earned will go directly to your card. You can use your alternate ID at the pump or inside the store.
How do I add an Alternate ID to my Speedy Rewards card?
Once your Speedy Rewards card is fully registered you can add an alternate ID to your card. Visit the in-store Speedy Rewards terminal or log into your account at SpeedyRewards.com
and look for the alternate ID link under member services.
Why do I have to enter my Speedy Rewards P.I.N with my Alternate ID?
We are requiring you to enter your Speedy Rewards P.I.N. number with your alternate ID to earn points and receive coupons. By entering your PIN number it ensures only you will be able to earn and redeem points and coupons on your Speedy Rewards card.
How long is the Alternate ID?
Your alternate ID must be between 7-10 digits.
When will my points show up?
Entering your alternate ID at the pump or inside the store acts just like a card swipe. Your base, bonus, and club points will show up immediately.
If I use my Alternate ID, can I still use Pay Card as my method of payment?
Yes. You will be prompted at the pump or inside the store to use Pay Card as your method of payment after entering your Alternate ID and PIN.
Is my PIN for my Alternate ID the same PIN I use for my redemptions or as a Speedy Pay Card?
Your loyalty PIN is the same PIN you use to redeem points or log into your Speedy Rewards account. This PIN is different than the one you use as your Pay Card PIN although you could have selected the same four digit number for both processes.
What do I do if I forgot my Alternate ID or PIN?
You can go to the Speedy Rewards terminal or online to reset your Alternate ID.
Since I can use an Alternate ID do I still need keep my Speedy Reward card or can I just throw it away?
You will still need to use your card to redeem your points at the terminal, and to present at partner locations to earn Speedy Rewards points.
Where can I use my Alternate ID?
Your Speedy Rewards Alternate ID is valid at Speedway locations excluding select locations in MN and WI.
Can I use my Alternate ID to redeem points or will I need my Speedy Rewards card?
You will need to have your Speedy Rewards card when using the Speedway Rewards terminal to review the account or redeem points. If you no longer have your card, you can obtain a replacement by hitting the "Replace Card" button on the Speedy Rewards terminal and following the prompts to link the new card to your account. For member security, this process will take 24 hours to complete and the account owner will receive an email that a card replacement has been issued to the account.
How do I download the Speedway Mobile App?
You can access the iTunes or Google Play store from your mobile device and search for “Speedway”. You can also access the app from www.speedway.com/mobileapps
How much does the app cost?
Why can’t I download the App to my Blackberry?
Speedway Mobile App is only supported on Android phones with Android version 2.1 or higher as well as iOS 5 and higher.
Do I have to be a Speedy Rewards Member to download the Speedway Mobile App?
No. The Speedway Mobile App has a convenient Store Locator and Gas Price search feature that does not require Speedy Rewards Membership. Speedy Rewards members will however, be able to view their account balances, access a digital version of their Speedy Rewards Card, manage their profile and enter sweepstakes from within the app, after logging in.
Are the Gas Prices shown on the App in real-time?
Speedway promises to provide prices to be as accurate as possible. Prices are updated seven (7) days a week, approximately every 30 minutes. Prices listed are current prices since the previous download; however, the prices shown are not guaranteed. Store prices may vary between downloads and may vary at the store from the prices listed here. All sales will be made at the current posted street price at each store at the time of purchase.
When viewing the Store List, why doesn’t the app know my proper location?
In order to get an accurate location, the GPS on your device must be turned on. For iPhones go to Settings > Location Settings > Allow
For Android devices go to Settings > Location Services > Select Standalone GPS services
How do I change the default Search radius?
Click on the Menu Icon > Select Settings. From there you can set your default search radius to 5, 10 or 20 miles.
Can I change the Fuel type so I can automatically see prices for the type of fuel I use?
Click on the Menu Icon > Select Settings. From there you can select your default fuel grade (Unleaded, Plus, Premium or Diesel)
How do I connect my Social Media Accounts to the App so I can check-in at your locations?
You must click on the item you want to connect (ex Facebook) and you will be prompted to log in to your account. In order for this to work you must already have a social media account (Twitter, Facebook and Foursquare). For Apple devices you must first have your twitter account connected to your phone. Go to Settings > Twitter > Connect to Twitter
Why won’t the app let me check-in to my favorite store on Foursquare?
Foursquare requires that you be within 500 meters of the location you are checking in to. Make sure your GPS is turned on and you are at the location before checking in via Foursquare. You do not need to be within 500 meters of a store to check-in on Facebook or Twitter.
How do I log-in to Speedy Rewards from the app?
Using your email address and PIN that you registered with. This is the same login info you use on Speedway.com.
Can I view my Account Statement and Speedy Rewards points balance from the App?
Yes. Click on “My Speedy Rewards”. If you are not logged in, you will be prompted to log in using your email address and PIN.
How do I view my Digital Speedy Rewards Card?
You must be logged in. You can access the digital card 3 ways:
1. Clicking the red card icon in the upper right hand corner of the screen,
2. Selecting “My Card” from the main navigation
3. Turning your phone sideways on most pages. This works on every page except “My Speedy Rewards” and on text forms on Android devices.
Can I use my Digital card at the store?
Yes. You can scan your Digital Speedy Rewards Card at the register.
Can I use my Digital card at the pump?
Not at this time. We recommend you set up and Alternate ID for use at the pump when you don’t have your physical card.
Can I redeem points from the app?
Yes. First you must be logged into your Speedy Rewards account. Then from the main menu, you can click on "Redeem Points." A digital copy of the coupon will be stored in the "My Coupons" section of the mobile app after you make a selection. Simply present your mobile device and your Speedy Rewards card to the CSR to claim your reward.
I lost my card/My card is worn out. Can I replace it from the mobile app?
Not at this time. Use the in-store Speedy Rewards Kiosk to quickly replace your card and transfer your points to a new card.
How do I transfer points from my Speedy Rewards Account to another account?

Can I sign up for Speedy Rewards Pay Card from the mobile app?
